sweet rice
- 1 l plant-based milk
- 300 g round-grain rice (preferably brown rice)
- pinch of salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 100 g sugar
- 2 packets vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
- Put milk to boil.
- When it starts boiling, add salt, bay leaf and rice and gently stir to combine. Leave to simmer, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon to make sure the rice doesn't stick or burn.
- In the end add sugar and vanilla sugar/vanilla extract and remove the bay leaf.
* The rice takes about 15 minutes to cook.
